    With love from Russia!

Hello! Very nice to be on this forum! My name is Konstantin, I am from Russia.
I live in the city of Sochi, I travel a lot in the Caucasus and in general in the south of my country.
Fond of astronomy since childhood, I love to contemplate the deep space. Observations lead with the aid of 12" Dobson telescope.
I will be happy to follow the news of the forum, and also shares my own. Glad to be new acquaintances with like-minded people and colleagues in the hobby. All clear sky and starry nights!

probably not a lot of point in posting in Russian as I doubt many people can read that.

Thanks for your post KOS, it's a pleasure to read your observing trip report and to look at your photos. As amateur astronomers we all live in the same world, it was so easy to imagine I was there with you.

Most web browsers have translation "add-ons" you can add to your browser.
I have one in my main browser (I use all of them at different times) that simply requires a "translate this page" click and turns the Cyrillic script into English.

His post said, in a somewhat unedited translation:
and here are the first photos from our Astrovpisk in teberd (Northern Caucasus), in April 2019. Thanks for them Vyacheslav Nikitin and April hopeful! a little later, when additional photos are ready, I will write a detailed account of our trip. Now I will say that the observations were conducted at two sites, at an altitude of 1250m. n y m. (the first night) and 1900m. (in the second). With the help of the 10 "Dobson telescope, our entire group was able to see almost all the objects of the spring deep-sky, from this article: https://vk.com/@openastronomy-nablud...ektov-deep-sky
did not see only the nebula" Catseye ", for some reason it didn’t work to catch it. We also didn’t look at the owl nebula, got the laser to guide, and froze, it was cold all the same, high in the mountains. But we looked at the ring in lyra nebula. Still The sky in the sky is the best! Photo: https://vk.com/album-68241032_262071250?rev=1
