Everyone here is always helpful and knowledgeable that I was hoping for a little help.
The other night/ morning 8/3/2016 I observed M 31 and sketched(still trying to get better) what I saw. I noticed two prominent dark spots on the west side.
I looked at some detailed drawings of the Andromeda galaxy and was lost.
Could they possibly be globular clusters or star clouds? Sorry I do not have anymore information.
