Last new moon I started an observing and sketching project of Abell 1656 with bigger aperture. After I tried to observe the cluster with 8" aperture (http://www.deepsky-visuell.de/Zeichnungen/Abell1656.htm) in the past, the 27" was on the row. The field shows nearly 60 galaxies up to approx 18bmag. Coolest detail was the faint edge-on on the back of NGC 4884.
