I was just reading about the recently released HST image of the lensing cluster AGC 68. I was blown away by the image and felt I had to post on it! The level of detail acquired by Hubble is absolutely astonishing. This thing lies over 2B LY's away!! The lensing going on is remarkable.

In case you may have missed it...

For a large jpg image to look at closely, go here (http://www.spacetelescope.org/static/archives/images/large/heic1304a.jpg)

Even APOD had it featured recently here (http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap130308.html)

One interesting note. AGC 68, centered on RA 00 37 06.19 DEC +09 09 33.1, is in Pisces. In the APOD article, APOD mentions it as being located in Vulpecula. What they're actually referring to is Abell 68, the PN. That's in Vulpecula, not the cluster.

Nevertheless, I just wanted to share this with the group.

Enjoy!
