Hi Raul, I will give this new PN a try when the moon gets out of the way. I don’t hold out much hope as on the DSS,SDSS and PanSTARRS images it is invisible. Thanks for the heads up on this new PN.

I'm afraid that Jimmy is right - nearly no chance to catch one of these new spectacular discoveries. Don't forget, the images looks nice but the exposures are extremely long and the magic of Marcel is marvellous.

I've tried five PNe from Marcel (Drechsler) and/or Strottner so far and only had one positive result (StDr 1).

Hi everyone,

That image looks amazing. I wonder how they discovered the nebula, as it its invisible on DSS and PanSTARRS.
76 hours of exposure... I wish I would have had that much clear sky time since end of October. :-)
