Hi folks,

This new moon, I gave a look at SN 1604, the Kepler's Supernova Remnant, through my 25" Obsession.
I took the opportunity of a very dark sky, 21.92, due to the lockdown (in France, we have been forbidden to drive more than 60 mile beyond our home, during all May. So there were very few cars on the roads, very few country-houses occupied, and finally very few lights )
... But I failed to perceive it !

If some of us want to try it, I posted a detailed report of my observation at:

Hope it might help you.

Clear sky

I also tried it with the 48” 3 times last month. Although I felt like I could detect some super faint nebulosity I could not convince myself of the observation. The star field is so rich that you have to be careful that you are seeing a nebula and not unresolved stars. I will try again next dark time with a better finder chart and report my observations positive or negative.
