HuBi 1: an inside-out planetary

Hi all,

I just read this article about a special planetary nebula that ejected material twice:

Pretty much stellar and only really promient in the WISE images so will be quite a challenge.

Yes but according to simbad it is quite bright so blinking with an UHC or OIII filter may be enough to at least identify it. And afaik it is 4” across so it should show a disk using high magnification on a stable hight...

It is on my list to try. It looks like it will be pretty difficult. I used the the PanSTARRS image server with the G R and I Band and it is barely on the image.

So maybe Simbad lists the magnitude of the central star? Sorry Owen, I didn’t think of that.
