Hi fellow deep sky hounds,

I actually made it up to some dark skies and observed some VV objects. First time putting an observing report on my site in more than 4 years, with the exception of the newly discovered gravitational lensed quasar, Andromeda's Parachute.

Enjoy. hopefully, I'll get something going soon.

Welcome back Alvin. Thanks for sharing your observing report. It is quite impressive and truthfully I'm a bit envious of those sky conditions.
Enjoy and keep in touch.

Likewise Alvin, and I hope to see you at the GSSP next month!

Thanks Jimi, Mark and Howard. Unfortunately I won't make it to GSSP as I'm leading a group from July 11-30, then I leave the country for 6 weeks. Back in the US in the middle to settle my friend in then back out of the country.

Hi Alvin,
very nice objects - i like especially VV 223 and the star pair and VV 109 with the weak gx near the star...
I am optimistic at least to see most of the gx with my 12" under superb skies - i´m looking forward to check it out. Thanks for the interesting targets.
