Everybody knows about the famous ring nebula M57 and the not so well know PN M 1-64 in Lyra. I have recently observed two more Lyra ring's that are way off the beaten path. The ring's are not PN but Ring galaxies.

1 UGC 11185

I noted that the ring was AV and is better viewed with the bright star out of the field @ 610X

This ring I called it extremely faint but the ring was seen with direct vision @813X with a 6 MM ZAO eyepiece. The small companion galaxy was seen as small fuzzy spot with direct
vision but I could see no detail.

I would say that with all the ring's in Lyra that it holds the crown for the Lord of The Ring's
