I've just updated my observing notes files on Adventures in Deep Space (astronomy-mall.com/Adventures.In.Deep.Space/). The latest iteration includes visual descriptions of every deep-sky object in the NGC (7840 entries) as well as 1500 more from the IC.
In addition, you'll find data on every object (coordinates, type, magnitude, size, position angle, etc.) as well as historical discovery information and a discussion of all contested NGC/IC identifications.
