Potential SN in NGC6946

I assume most DSF members are aware of this but there appears to be a new SN in NGC 6946. It appears to be type IIp about a week before maximum. Currently it is at mag 12.5 ish. We had to wait quite a long time to see a bright supernova again!
I observed 2017eaw last night with my 16" and estimated it as 12.8 mag.
